Sipping dreams is a family-owned and –operated drinking chocolate company based in Eugene, OR. The seed for growing our business was planted when Tom made Clover a cup of drinking chocolate from his own recipe, right before Valentine's Day 2007. We officially launched at the Eugene Celebration on September 12, 2008.

We developed Sipping Dreams with the intention of using drinking chocolate to bring people together, both personally and within the community. We are committed to enriching people's lives, one cup at a time.

Our program of planned giving donates a percentage of our proceeds to select nonprofit organizations. For 2012 we have partnered with OPHELIA'S PLACE and will donate a percentage of our proceeds to their organization. By the simplest definition, they are a “community for girls.” The goal of their work is to empower young women to make healthy, informed decisions about their many important life choices.

Drinking chocolate is relatively unknown in the United States, though very popular in Europe. Often confused with hot cocoa, drinking chocolate utilizes bar chocolate (not powder) as a base for the thick, rich and decadent drink.
